It’s a new year, with lots of games, movies and more. Although the industry doesn’t really start to emerge until later this month, gamers are excited to be on the horizon. Then Ken Levine’s next game is stuck in development hell according to a new report. Developers working alongside Levine have complained about his directing style, stating that his ideas are often difficult to recreate due to poor communication. Editor Take-Two reportedly gave Levine a lot of freedom, which could go against the project.
In other news, the days gone by The director said the game sold over 8 million sets, but was treated as a failure by Sony, although Ghost of Tsushima reached similar numbers and was well regarded. However, more information has been revealed and the director’s figures may not be accurate.
Finally, Riot Games settled a $100 million sexual harassment lawsuit, setting a new precedent for future lawsuits. Additionally, EA canceled a Harry Potter MMO that looked pretty promising.
