The Mets will kick off the second half of the season by welcoming the Padres to Queens!

The Mets are 23 games above .500 and sit in first place ahead of the Atlanta Braves entering their second half after a torrid June. The Phillies have also made a turn recently and they find themselves in the wild card race as well. It’s going to be a fun few months!

The Padres are currently 10 games above .500 and hold a wildcard spot. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games. They took over two of the Mets’ three when the two teams played each other in June.
