Genshin Impact has undergone a demake in a new pixelated fan project, and it looks amazing.

Indie pixel artist OhoDavi recently shared his latest project which has been in the works for quite some time, and it brings the free-to-play action role-playing game (RPG) to the world of 2D pixel art (via PCGamesN).

Sharing the 20-second clip on Twitter, OhoDavi showcased this Genshin Impact would feel like a turn-based RPG. The art style is stunning and depicts the characters Ningguang, Keqing, Aether, and Zhongli battling a Ruin Hunter. Interestingly, Zhongli also wears a McDonald’s uniform which is a common meme in the community.

In the background, Wangshu Inn can be spotted while the UI displays additional optional support characters to choose from, including Xiao, Azhdaha, and OhoDavi themselves. You can check it below:

The project even offers options for attacking, using elemental skills, team attack, items, defending and fleeing. The enemy’s health bar is also shown, along with current playable character stats. The short clip shows Aether using the “Starward Sword” team attack which performs a brilliant attack animation, until Zhongli and Keqing appear to deliver strong follow-ups.

This is followed by a nice animation of Keqing’s ultimate ability to Genshin Impactshowing her zooming in on the screen to deliver the final blow.

OhoDavi mentioned in the Twitter feed that the start of the lively section of Keqing took about two months. Quality certainly pays off. The post now has over 183,000 likes and 47,000 retweets.

“Thank you very much to all,” said the artist. “Sorry, I can’t respond to all comments. For the first time in my life, my art is being enjoyed by so many people…”

In other news, Riot Games has confirmed that they will be doing a redesign ValorantMap of fractures.
