The free-to-play gacha MMO Tower Of Fantasy was plagued with server issues after its launch yesterday, but – knock on wood – no more. The developers say these are now fixed and players should find it easier to log in and play. They also said that more fixes are planned for the next few days.
According to the official Tower Of Fantasy website post, “Issues related to queuing, disconnecting, and being unable to register and login have all been resolved. Other issues will be resolved within the next 48 hours.”
They also note that they are “aware that some content will need to be optimized in the future”, although details there are scarce.
People who have been affected by previous server disconnections and failed logins will receive compensation in game currency within the next 24 hours. (They will also expire if not claimed within the next two weeks.)
The game can currently be downloaded from its official website, with launches on Steam and the Epic Games Store slated for later this year.
Ed has been trying to get a good look at Tower Of Fantasy since it launched, but he was one of those who tried to tune in. Things seem to be looking up, though – today he was able to read the tutorial and play the actual game without any issues. Fingers crossed means things have indeed been ironed out and he will be back soon with his impressions.
